Why It Works

Glyceryl Caprylate (Coconut Oil): This precious oil is 100% plant-derived, and a natural multi-functional ingredient that has moisturizing properties. It nourishes and conditions the lashes and reduces frizz. Perfectly safe to use on eyelashes and stimulates healthy growth!

 

Isododecane: A popular ingredient in make-up products, known for its ability to make mascara last longer. Isododecane is water-insoluble which makes it super waterproof and minimises colour transfer. It helps mascara spread easily on the lashes without leaving a thick or greasy residue, effectively prevents clumps.

 

Trimethylsiloxysilicate: This is a BRB specialty silicone resin which acts like a film former that enhances the staying power and holds the curl in place throughout the day!

Great for oily lids

I’ve always thought mascaras were not for me and hardly used them as my oily lids tend to cause them to smudge throughout the day and give me panda eyes. I’ve tried this mascara for 2 weeks and I can safely say it’s my new favourite!! It’s really oil and waterproof, and gives me the defined and full lashes I’ve always dreamed of. Even my boyfriend who’s not into makeup commented on my eyelashes! Will definitely repurchase this!

Good for the natural Asian look

the slim brush make application less clumpy and builds on volume rather than length. Since it applies thinly, i can stop at one layer for a natural look or build it up if i want a more dramatic effect! With one layer, it feels like nothing even tho you can definitely see the mascara effect, love it! Immediately threw out my old mascaras cos i dont see a point in keeping them.

Mascara

This is my new FAVOURITE. Love it more than the Tarte Tarteist which I find clumps too much. This is SMUDGE-FREE water proof, applies so cleanly, lengthening and lasts. Not for volumizing. Can't say that it helps with curling but it doesn't feel heavy and thus does not weigh your lashes down.

    Full Ingredients

    1. Isododecane: A clear, colourless and odourless, highly volatile (meaning it does not absorb into the skin but evaporates from it) liquid that's used as an emollient. It gives a nice non-oily light skin feel and it can improve the slip of the formula without leaving a tacky residue behind.
    - Helps minimise colour transfer – Smudgeproof/ No fallouts and has a weightless feel on skin and hair, matte finish.
    - Enhances the spreadability (Clump-free) of products. - spreads easily on the skin without leaving a thick or greasy residue.
    - All hydrocarbons used in cosmetics help prevent the evaporation of water from skin/ hair – retains moisture, prevents moisture loss.
    - It helps your skin stay hydrated by locking in moisture at its surface, while also being a delivery mechanism for pigments and silicones in makeup — the more hydrated and even-surfaced your skin is, the longer the products stay on throughout your day.
    - Breaks down easily for smooth application

    2. Trimethylsiloxysilicate: When react with Isodecane, it forms a quick-dry effect and strong adhesion on skin or hair. Once a uniform barrier resin film is formed, it enhances the staying power and holds the shape in place – lashes are lifted for long hours when properly curled during application.
    - Film-forming, unique feel, resistance to staining by water borne materials, water-repellency and long-lasting emolliency with little slip.
    - Helps hold pigments in place while providing water-resistance in skin care and colour cosmetic applications. In hair care compositions, the silicone resin provides volume and body, while imparting humidity resistance to the hair.
    - Strong adhesion – long-lasting power and holds shape in place throughout the day.
    - Quick-dry when react with Isodecane.

    3. Glyceryl Caprylate (Coconut Oil): A 100% plant derived, natural multi-functional ingredient that has emollient and moisturizing properties, can work as a co-emulsifier (meaning that next to other emulsifiers it can help water and oil to mix) and even more importantly has a strong antimicrobial activity. Glyceryl Caprylate is a plant-based emulsifier that helps to blend oils and waters. It is most commonly derived from coconut oil and helps with the natural absorption of oils into the skin and balancing of skin's pH.
    - Natural moisturiser for the skin and hair. It helps increase hydration and reduces water loss.
    - Conditions and nourishes the lashes to hydrate and reduce frizz.
    - Perfectly safe to use on your eyelashes and the skin around your eyes. Coconut oil does not help your eyelashes grow longer; instead, it enables them to grow to their full length and thickness.
    - Coconut oil will not increase the rate your eyelashes grow, but it will prevent them from falling out as frequently.
    - Coconut oil helps fight bacteria that can also lead to hair loss.
    - False eyelashes and extensions can cause damage to your natural lashes.
    - Using coconut oil to stimulate hair growth is a safer and natural alternative.

How to Use

  • Step 1

    Curl your lashes with eyelash curler before use for maximum impact.

  • Step 2

    Hold your mascara wand starting at the base of your lashes, and lightly brush lashes using C shape technique.

  • Step 3

    Going back to the base again, use the Z shape technique to wiggle product through each lash to build volume.

  • Step 4

    Use the tapered tip of Mascara to lightly coat the corner lashes and lower lashes.
